E-Sports
to maximise gaming skills
Whether it's Rocket League, FIFA, Super Smash Bros or CS GO, gamers are high-performance athletes - high-performance athletes with very specific skills and requirements that can hardly be compared to any other sport in the world. We are talking about up to 600 clicks per minute. That's the equivalent of 10 clicks per minute, each of which can make the difference between winning and losing, even if the other 599 were absolutely perfect.
In order for us to use the controller, mouse or keyboard in the best possible way, we have to correctly recognise countless visual and auditory stimuli, process them in our brain and combine them with each other in order to then transmit them via our peripheral nervous system to our fingers so that they press the right button at exactly the right moment - up to 10 times per second.
In order to be able to consistently deliver top performance here, reaction, hand-eye coordination, speed and, in particular, decision-making must function optimally under enormous pressure. The good news, however, is that in addition to training on a PC or console, there are also many ways to boost your in-game performance in your everyday life. In addition to sleep, a healthy diet and a perfectly coordinated sports programme, these also include factors that are often less associated with gaming performance, such as healthy intestinal and oral flora, natural climatic conditions or fit mitochondria, the small but important power plants in our cells. A holistic approach and individualised solutions are needed to reconcile all of these factors and create the optimal conditions for success.
With this all-encompassing concept, I am also happy to support your team in optimising physical fitness and vitality in order to maximise gaming skills.
